MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
The Eagle Rock Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department needs you! A smaller department capable of providing a more personal level of service to its citizens as well as to its own members awaits you. Training is provided with no experience required. The department offers a friendly and family oriented environment driven by the success of its members. Want to get your foot in the door of a career? Multiple members have gotten their start in the Fire-EMS field with us and they continue to serve to this day! Want a way to give back in your free time? We are always accepting. Want to build relationships with your new second family? Stop by if you see the bay doors open. An open seat on one of our trucks is waiting for you!

FIREFIGHTER
Do you want to be the difference between a full truck or an empty truck responding to a fire? Come join us as a fire suppression member and learn the world of structural and wildland firefighting. Enjoy a department who encourages training and will make all attempts to send you to any class desired for continued education. Members have attended classes across the country! Gain experience and time in the department and work to achieve your goals with the support of your new family behind you!

EMT
Come let us put you through EMT and become a vital part of a busy EMS system. With a large area to cover and the potential to go county wide, there isn't much you wont see. Want to further your education to EMT-A or EMT-P? Opportunities are here for you!

Driver/Operator
Don't have a desire to put on an SCBA or wear surgical gloves? Driver/ Operator roles are just as important! Provided training, an adequate check off process, and your motivation will get you behind the wheel of our Fire Trucks or an Ambulance in no time. Drive EMS providers giving vital medical care to the hospital or drive and operate an Engine Company to and at the scene of a fire. All we need is you!

Special Ops Team
(S.O.T.)
We have a space for you on our branch of the Botetourt Special Operations Team. Dive into the world of HTR and gain knowledge from top notch in house, county wide, and state wide instructors. Ropes, Trench, Confined space, Search & Rescue, Swift Water Rescue and More!
